These refill stations are conveniently located so that everyone on campus can fill up as needed, helping them stay healthy and energized. Plus, this initiative encourages the UMN community to ditch single-use plastic bottles, promoting responsible consumption and reducing waste. 

UMN’s dedication to sustainability and clean water access is supported by the Vice Rector’s Decree No. 040/SK-WR II/VII/2019, which aligns with global Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 6. By providing these refill stations, UMN not only offers a practical solution to hydration but also reinforces the importance of water conservation and sustainable practices. Every refill not only keeps students hydrated but also contributes to reducing plastic waste on campus, aligning with UMN’s goal of responsible resource management.
